  • Bajo el cielo de San Antonio de los Cobres se habló de QUBIC (mayo 16, 2017)

Con el fin de generar lazos con la comunidad local de San Antonio y sensibilizar a los lugareños sobre la importancia que tiene la instalación del instrumental en la zona, la Dra. García ofreció una
charla sobre QUBIC. “La comunidad necesita no solo tener conocimiento, sino también una participación activa en el proyecto”, comentó Beatriz.

Finalmente, se desarrolló una actividad sobre polución lumínica en la que se resaltó que San Antonio tiene una ordenanza municipal para controlar este tipo de contaminación. La jornada concluyó con una observación directa del cielo nocturno para determinar el nivel de polución lumínica en la ciudad, en la que participaron docentes y alumnos de primaria y secundaria.
